Lord Justice Rupert JacksonOn Monday 5 September in the Moot Court Room of the Faculty of Law, Lord Justice Rupert Jackson delivered a talk entitled 'Legal Aid and the Costs Review Reforms'.  In it, he considered Government proposals to reduce public financial support for civil proceedings through the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Bill, implementing some of Lord Justice Jackson's recommendations in his Civil Litigation Costs Review. Following the talk, there was discussion by academics and practitioners.
