University of CambridgeThe University of Cambridge has retained its spot as the top-ranked university law faculty, according to a major study carried out by Legal Week's research arm into the perceptions of more than 3,000 law students at some of the UK's leading institutions.

After an excellent showing in the QS World University Rankings, in which the Cambridge Law Faculty came second overall to Harvard Law School, the Faculty is particularly pleased to have received a glowing endorsement from its own students.

The study found more students at Cambridge graded their university as 'excellent' than at any other institution, with the Faculty coming top for the quality of its teaching, value for money and teaching facilities – three of the four categories students were asked to rate.

The Faculty's strategic aim is to maintain its position as a leading international law school that is at the forefront of legal research and in which connections between research and teaching are highly valued. Faculty level teaching is supplemented by the College-based supervision system, which provides an unrivalled level of interaction between students and lecturers. The Faculty is gratified to know that students feel that they are benefiting from this approach.
