The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce a new pathway agreement with Melbourne Law School.
The agreement will allow Melbourne JD students to do three and a half years of full-time law study, comprised of five semesters at Melbourne and three terms at Cambridge. Successful completion of the LLM or Masters degree in Corporate Law (MCL) at Cambridge will normally be accepted by Melbourne in substitution for the final semester of the JD Program.
Melbourne joins Sydney and Harvard Law Schools in the small group of global law schools with which Cambridge has entered into similar arrangements.
Professor Eilís Ferran, Chair of the Faculty Board, commented: "This partnership with Melbourne Law School strengthens our excellent relationships with top Australian law schools. We are delighted that the Cambridge LLM and MCL will now count towards the Melbourne JD and look forward to welcoming a cohort of exceptional students."
