In the week beginning 11 August 2014, the Faculty of Law hosted the annual Sutton Trust Summer School in Law for twenty nine sixth-former students from around the country.
The aim of the Trust is to improve educational opportunities for young people from non-privileged backgrounds and increase social mobility, and to give the students the experience of a week studying Law at the Faculty.
The Summer School week culminated in a mock trial, with students playing all the major roles, including solicitors, barristers, witnesses and defendant. A gallery of photographs from the event are available on the Faculty's Flickr photostream.
