Death of Lord Michael MustillIt is a matter of great sadness to the Faculty that the death has been announced of Lord Mustill.

A distinguished and often innovative member of the Appellate Committee of the House of Lords, Michael Mustill was, as counsel, judge, and author, a leader in the fields of commercial law and international arbitration. An Honorary Fellow of St John's College, he retained a close association with the Faculty over many years. He was for some time a Yorke Distinguished Fellow and was the Arthur Goodhart Professor in the academic year 2003-2004. He was also Honorary President of the Cambridge University Law Society. He was awarded the LLD degree in 1992.

It is planned that a concert will be held in his memory in either Cambridge or London during the summer.
