University of Cambridge Faculty of LawThe University of Cambridge Faculty of Law has again been assessed as the country's leading law school. Repeating its success in previous years it came first in the Guardian University Guide 2016 league table for Law. This matches its position as the UK's top-ranked law school in both the Complete University Guide and the QS World Rankings (in which it was placed second in the world after Harvard Law School).

The Guardian table is compiled by independent consultancy Intelligent Metrix, and ranks universities according to eight quality factors which are considered important to students, including student satisfaction, staff-student ratio, expenditure on students, and employability.

Commenting on its number one position, Chair of the Faculty, Professor Richard Fentiman, said: "It is pleasing that the quality of the education we provide has again been recognized, judged by the things that matter most to students. The exceptional staff-student ratio at Cambridge, and our commitment to teaching, ensures an unrivalled educational experience for our students, which is also highly valued by employers".
