Faculty Hosts Sutton Trust Summer Scheme in Law 2015

In the week beginning 13 July 2015, the Faculty of Law hosted the annual Sutton Trust Summer School in Law for thirty sixth-former students from around the country.

The aim of the Trust is to improve educational opportunities for young people from non-privileged backgrounds and increase social mobility, and to give the students the experience of a week studying Law at the Faculty.

The Summer School week culminated in a mock trial, with students playing all the major roles, including solicitors, barristers, witnesses and defendant. A gallery of photographs from the event are available on the Faculty's Flickr photostream.
