On June 15, the University of Geneva hosted a conference entitled 'The Global Debate on Intellectual Property, Trade and Development: Past, Present and Future'. The conference, organised by the University of Minnesota Law School and in cooperation with Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) was arranged in honour of influential IP leader Pedro Roffe. Roffe has shaped the field for 40 years, and for many, his name has been synonymous with discussions on technology transfer and intellectual property rights.

Henning gave his talk 'From TRIPS to FTAs and Back: The Role of a Multilateral IP Framework in a TRIPS-plus World'.
