In addition to Professor Nicola Padfield's appointment as a QC Honoris Causa, the Faculty also warmly welcomes the appointment of a large number of its graduates as Queen's Counsel.
We congratulate Dr Charles Harpum on becoming a Queen's Counsel Honoris Causa. Nominated by the Chancery Bar Association, Dr Harpum was formerly a University Lecturer in Law, Fellow of Downing College (1977-2001) and Emeritus Fellow (2001-). He was a Law Commissioner for England and Wales (1994-2001) and is at Falcon Chambers.
The Lord Chancellor will preside over the appointment ceremony, where the rank will formally be bestowed upon successful applicants, at Westminster Hall on 26 February 2018.
