Widening access & participationThe Faculty is delighted to announce the launch of its new Access and Widening Participation Partner Scheme. With the support of generous donations from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Hogan Lovells, the Faculty will be seeking to enhance the access of the brightest students, irrespective of background, to its outstanding programmes of legal study and, more broadly, to the legal profession.

In launching this new scheme in collaboration with its Access and Widening Participation Partners, the Faculty of Law will be building on its already ambitious range of access and outreach initiatives, including the student-led Cambridge Sixth Form Law Conference, the annual Sutton Trust Summer School in Law, and the Experience Cambridge scheme.

Professor Mark Elliott, Chair of the Faculty, said:

"We are delighted to be able to partner with leading Law firms that share our commitment to ensuring that opportunities to study and practise Law at the highest level are open to students of ability and potential, irrespective of their social or educational background. This new programme of investment will enable the Faculty to advance its long-standing commitment to access and widening participation, and to build on its substantial work and achievements in this area in recent years."

Full information about the Faculty’s access and outreach activities can be found in the Access & outreach pages.
