3 Verulam Buildings support new full fees LLM scholarships

Thanks to the continuing generosity of leading commercial barristers' chambers 3 Verulam Buildings, the Faculty of Law is delighted to announce a new scholarship for the Master of Law (LLM) course from 2021, which will cover the full course fees at the domestic rate.

The 3 Verulam Buildings Scholarship will be awarded each year (for a period of three years) to a candidate intending to practise at the commercial bar in England and Wales who has demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and potential.

In awarding the scholarship, the Faculty will prioritise candidates who would otherwise not have the means to provide their course fees. The successful Scholar will also be offered a mini-pupillage with 3 Verulam Buildings.

Commenting on this donation, the Chair of the Faculty, Professor Mark Elliott, said: "I am delighted that 3 Verulam Buildings has chosen to provide this new scholarship. Enabling talented students to take part in our degree programmes irrespective of their financial means is central to our academic mission as a Faculty. We are enormously grateful to 3 Verulam Buildings for their support."
