Contemporary French Administrative LawCambridge University Press has published Contemporary French Administrative Law by John Bell and François Lichère (Université Lyon III).

Bell and Lichère’s Contemporary French Administrative Law provides a short and systematic introduction to French administrative law. It presents French governmental institutions, fundamental principles of legality and good administration, judicial review of administrative action, government contracts and state liability. It charts the way French administrative law has been shaped by the growth of French constitutional law, by the EU and the European Convention and by wider international trends. French administrative law retains many distinctive features whilst adapting to external benchmarks and influences.
