The Influence of Natural Law Theory on Eighteenth-Century English Common Law

Summary

My doctoral research explores the influence of natural law philosophy on English common law in the eighteenth century. The research seeks to understand how natural law jurisprudence impacted the development of specific private law doctrines, as well as legal reasoning more broadly.
