Landmark Cases in Public International Law examines decisions that have contributed to the development of international law into an integrated whole, whilst also creating specialised sub-systems that stand alone as units of analysis. The result presents international law in three dimensions: what it was, what it is, and what it could be. To mark the publication of the volume, the Lauterpacht Centre will host a dynamic and interactive panel discussion with the authors of four of chapters from the book, each author arguing why his or her landmark case deserves to be considered the greatest ‘landmark’. Sir Frank Berman, who wrote the volume’s foreword, will chair the event.
This event will take place in the Finley Library at the Lauterpacht Centre and will run from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm, followed by a drinks reception.
