Lorand BartelsProfessor Lorand Bartels MBE was invited to give evidence to the House of Commons European Scrutiny Committee, on Wednesday 30 November.

The Committee is considering regulation after Brexit, and specifically the question 'How do post-Brexit trade deals impact the UK's ability to regulate freely?'.

Professor Bartels was joined as a witness by Shanker Singham (CEO, Competere Ltd) and Sam Lowe (Partner, Flint Global).

Lorand Bartels is Professor of International Law and a Fellow of Trinity Hall, and has published several books on international trade law, including Bilateral and Regional Trade Agreements, 2 vols (Cambridge, 2016), co-edited with Simon Lester and Bryan Mercurio.
